SAILORPC-12A - the complete water protected PC with excellent touch screen features!

IPC2U presents  the sealed IP67 waterproof SAILORPC-12A panel PC and sunlight readable SAILORPC-12ASR. By its  rugged waterproof aluminum chassis and LCD touch panel SAILORPC-12A is very suitable to tackle critical applications in marine, avionics, military, mining, engineering and industrial settings.

SAILORPC-12A is equipped with a fanless, low voltage 1.6GHz Intel® Atom™ processor with 533MHz FSB ensuring fanless operations. Good performance facilities are also represented by up to 2GB 533MHz DDR2 RAM. 
As SAILORPC-12A  is based on a rugged die-cast aluminum enclosure heat can be optimally dissipated reducing overheating. Thus there is no need for a fan. The high speed 802.11b/g/n Wi-Fi module with internal antenna guarantee broadband-speed browsing and uninterrupted wireless connectivity. There are  2.5" SATA HDD bay and   CompactFlash® II for data storage. The user has a choice between Windows CE 6.0, Windows XP Embedded, and Linux as operating system.
 
The fully sealed IP67 and NEMA6 compliant aluminum chassis and LCD touch panel of the SAILORPC-12A can protect the PC from  dust, water, and other corrosive materials. SAILORPC-12A  is designed for high reliability, shock and vibration tolerance, deployment under an extreme range of temperatures and in harsh environments. SAILORPC-12A strictly matches  IP67 and NEMA6. IP67/NEMA6 compliance provides full waterproof protection including the aluminum housing, touch panel, connectors and optional cables.
 
SAILORPC-12A is equipped with self-locking, protected M12 connectors for LAN, RS-232, RS-232/422/385, CAN bus and audio, (2) USB and 9~28V DC power adaptor connections. Also SAILORPC-12A is equipped with an automotive applied CAN-Bus interface. The Control Area Network (CAN) is a serial bus system in order to provide an especially reliable and rapid connection.
 
SAILORPC-12A features a 12.1 inch TFT LCD touch panel with 400 cd/m2 brightness. A built-in ambient light sensor automatically detects the amount of light and adjusts the brightness of the screen to save system power and reduce user eye strain. SAILORPC-12ASR provides furthermore adds Anti-Reflection (AR) technology and improved luminance through edge lighting to ensure extremely high brightness (up to 1000 cd/m2) and high contrast (700:1) providing excellent visibility in bright daylight or marine conditions.
